Happy New Year to all,

I apologize for the long delay between updates but a few really big things have come up. I can’t believe its January 21, 2010 already……let’s get the show on the road. I have so many mixed feelings over 2009, as it was probably the best and worst year but definitiely the most fascinating year I can remember. I thought i would create a list of memorable events for you to remember and help you reflect.
Barrack Obama the new President of the US (are you fired up and you ready to go: (this is one of the themes i have already begun to use this year), Our Top Stylist Training, the banking meltdown, government bail-outs on both sides of the border, recession?, Toronto ABA (hairstylist’s New Year), swine flu, auto industry collapse, Montreal ABA, Michael Jackson (too young, too soon), Bernie Madoff, Vancouver ABA (see you in 2011), Balloon Boy, Ottawa High Definition Show, Brock Lesnar slams Canada’s Health Care, Snowmobile tragedy in B.C, Vancouver High Definition Show, Mr.Joe Iannuzzi retires from Wella, Tori Stafford, Tornado rips through Southern Ontario, the very weird but awesome CD by Annie Clark, The short film Before Tomorrow (amazing), the documentary “The Cove (about the dolphins being slaughtered)”, Precious (my favorite movie), terrible dirt bike accident (close call), The Toronto High Definition Show including Canada’s Trend Vision Awards 2009 (congratulations to all who entered), 20 yr anniversary of the Berlin Wall Collapse, Sara Palin’s book Going Rogue, International Trend Vision Awards 2009 in Berlin (most inspiring event),Tiger Woods, Tiger Woods and more Tiger Woods (come back to the PGA so Phil can kick your ass again).

I hope you have a great year but let me ask you how will you know if you do…….try this out….on a flipchart or large piece of paper write down 3 goals for the year. This time need not write “more money” or “love” no “quitting smoking” and finally no weight loss promises instead write down “more emphasis on filling your tank”, how about a “no email reply day” once a month and finally try to communicate the old fashioned way, speak with them and finally enjoy your work but embellish your loved ones with your time.Take a photo of the flip chart and make it your phone or screen saver.

P.S.S: Please say a prayer in any religion for the orphans who were suddenly alone in this world after the devastation in Haiti.
