Amy Michleb, stylist and reality star
We were so happy to find out that Toronto-area stylist Amy Michleb would be competing on the current season of Shear Genius! Unfortunately, the show doesn’t have a Canadian airdate, but if you’re lucky enough to subscribe to U.S. channels or resourceful enough to find it online make sure you support Amy! In an article for the National Post’s website, here’s what Amy had to say about preparing for the show:
I was dreading a challenge like they had in Season 2: using food/kitchen products to style hair and give it hold instead of hair products, or when the contestants had to cut dogs’ and their owners’ hair. I’m a hairdresser for people, not a groomer; I take my cat to a pro for a haircut. But I went in with an open mind hoping that I would be able to survive whatever they threw at me.
