L’Oréal Professionnel presents spring trends, business tips and more
Feb. 27, 2009- Back for a second year L’Oréal Professionnel's Unique show took place at Toronto’s John Basset Theatre on Feb. 23.
The day-long educational event and stage presentation began with a look at the L’Oréal’s cutting collection, the new H3 Collection 2. Presented by Peter Salituro and Daniel Naumovski and inspired by the three H’s (heart, head and hand) the collection’s purpose was to help stylists gain technical experience and further develop their business.

Stylists were then introduced to LP’s latest innovation–Rubilane red coppers. Aptly dubbed Red Revolution and presented by Matthew Collins and Rino Balzano, this presentation showcased L’Oréal’s new vibrant, long-lasting reds. Business and motivational speaker Tanya Chernova was up next to talk business and covering everything from boomer trends to retail strategies.
Donna Dolphy and Luigi Di Tacchio then took to the stage to show how stylists can embrace and cater to their boomer clients. This segment, called Forever Young and featuring LP's age- Color Suprême hair colour, was a hands-on demonstration of how to keep boomer clients looking fresh.
Celebrity stylists Royston Blythe and Nick Malenko presented the spring/summer 09 Alice in Wonderland-themed trend collection. This anticipated segment showcased the bright colours and fresh shapes of the Precious Garden collection.
Daniel Fiorio and Brennen Demelo came on next to display the Art of French Hairdressing. The day capped off with a staging of the semi-finalists for L’Oréal Professionel’s Color Trophy 2009.
